Staples Players proudly present “Into The Woods” in the main stage theatre at Staples High School in Westport, CT. “Into The Woods” features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine. The show was originally directed on Broadway by James Lapine. The Staples Players production is directed by David Roth and Kerry Long. Performances are on March 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th at 7:30pm and on March 18th at 2pm.
“Into The Woods” tells the tale of a Baker and his Wife, who are trying to break a witches spell in order to have a child. On their quest they encounter several fairytale characters that are also on their own journeys.
